I now that there are many factors that would attract mosquitoes to
birds. The fact that my birds have been outside (and we are in South
Dade..for those not in the know, the mosquitoes here are the size of
budgies) and I have not had a problem to be concerned about, hopefully
will help to diminish your concern as well. Logically, it would seem
that the mosquito would also be attracted to the zapper as they would
be attracted to the heat it puts out. I have another suggestion if you
are really concerned. Go to your local friendly plant nursery and pick
yourself up several citronella plants. Place them either potted or
plant in close proximity to your birds..end of worries..
