Nobody?? Or just nobody in North Carolina...generally speaking that is
right? Did you take a personal survey for that information or read it
in a respected journal/newspaper? Or are you again making something up.
In our district there we have several computers in every classroom in
addition to HS and MS labs. Our entire district is linked via a local
area network. We all have internet access and our district has a very
nice homepage. Additionally, each school site has its own HP.
Our district has a well-thought out policy on student and teacher
internet access. Every staff member has received training both on
computer operations and on accessing and browsing the internet.
Even a casual search on the internet will show that many schools have
not only internet access and homepages, but comprehensive computer
programs in the schools.
As for other schools having a school bbs up and running, I'd put money
that I could find many that already have one.....maybe even one in North
Carolina. :) Then again....
