I think I've sussed out the problem of the ATI6.  When BTPE
finishes a call, it sees if it there is a carrier.  If there
isn't, it runs aftercall and then initializes the modem.
If there WAS a carrier, it initializes the modem and THEN
runs aftercall.  Since my init string was ATZ, that was the
end of that!  I have changed BTPE so that if it is still online,
it drops DTR, raises it, and then runs aftercall, and then
initializes the modem.

It's a shame Binkley doesn't have a straight-out hangup string,
and use it.  There's only the initialization.  Anyway, that
change should be in now, and all it needs is some poor schmuck
to test it by calling me.  BFN.  Paul.
