I could see the resends on the 3rd attempt.  You connected with
MNP instead of LAPM (V42) on that attempt BTW.  Not very nice.
And I'm loathe to blame you for running under Windows and 
missing interrupts, because it is 1200 bps and you normally
handle 19200 bps without problem.  BFN.  Paul.
