* Peter Fitzsimmons got everyone's attention by mumbling this to Martin Pollard:

PF> Prominare Designer contains the source code to all of its [pmcx]
PF> controls. There is a "lite" version of PD on recent
Devcon cd's, and
PF> I think that too has the source code.

PF> The sources are also included with URE (which is a super-lite version
PF> of PD), which is included with IBM's Warp programmer's toolkit (also
 PF> on the devcon).

Thanks for the tips, Peter. I checked 'em out, and while there's a lot of
good stuff there (LOTS of goodies!), nothing seemed to be exactly what I was
looking for. So, I bit the bullet and wrote it myself. :-) It took some
doing, but I finally was able to get it to do exactly what I wanted. Also, I
tried to base it as much as possible on the Win32 status bar control, to make
any potential cross-platform coding easier.

If anyone's interested, I can post the source here. I'd be more than
interested in getting outside opinions on it, as well as suggestions for
improvements and critiques of problems, both real and potential. I also
figure that other struggling PM programmers might find it useful. :-)
