JG> Wouldn't the seen-by lines take care of dupes? I thought that was what they

That is true to an extent.
JG> If a message already has a seen-by for 711/934, it wouldn't get tossed into
JG> a packet for TML. That was my understanding of it anyway.
Say echomail normally goes 711/934 - 711/808 - 711/555 - 711/444.
Now 711/808 is down for some time, so I start sending mail to 711/444
myself. I presume you still want 711/808 to get a copy, for when he
comes up again, so I will still be exporting it to him. Now 711/808
comes up again, and gets all my messages. He can see that 711/555 has
not seen them yet, so he sends them on, and 711/444 gets dupes, and
there is a good chance that he will send the dupes on to his
downstream, 711/333. Now, before you say "why don't I feed 711/555
instead of 711/444", you should be aware that mail also goes
711/808 - 711/111. And 711/808 - 711/222 too. BFN. Paul.
