For what it's worth from one long-time lurker, well put.  Couldn't agree 
more.  Even though I'm a home, not car audio enthusiast, I have found quite 
interesting and informative some of the car audio content here.  It has 
however, become quite tiresome paging through the tons of uninformed 
more-(drivers/wattage/SPL)-is-better postings to find the "good stuff".
Car audio is as valid a topic as home audio.  I am not prejudiced against 
it.  I do however agree that it has grown large enough to have its own 
stand-alone echo, and that all parties would be better served by the 
establishment of same.  Thanks.
