Your birds get Avain Pox every year? There is a vaccine for Avain Pox, by the
way.
Mosquitos are everywhere. You don't even have to have a container of water
for them to hatch in. They must hide their lille eggs in the tall moist 
rass.
I do keep up a bug zapper and would probably put up a couple of more if I 
had a place to plug it in. I don't know if it kill mosquito to be quite 
honest, but it does a heck of a job on other flying insects.
Another problem that I have are the bees and wasp. They are attracted to the
water bowls and the fruit. Maybe this year I will put up some of those sticky 
fly strips that you by at the feed store.
