Our school's bbs is up and running--soon we will have the echos set up,
(well, as soon as I figure out how to get the thing to dial the proper net
node, set up conference areas, etc.).

Knight's Domain 1-505-824-4045 4pm-8am M-F, 24hrs on weekend (we share a fax
line - the only reason I got a phone in my lab).

My students love using the message area, they can leave messages for anyone
in any of my classes. With very few exceptions, the terms of service have
been followed.

All of this has been done through lab fees and fund raisers. We are going to
connect to the Internet for E-mail and newsgroups in the fall. My plan is to
go slowly so that the students learn proper use of technology as a tool for
their learning.

The space for the web site is provided by AOL as part of my AOL account, 10mb
of space - that would be very expensive elsewhere.

How are your schools dealing with access issues? We are just developing our
policy.
