Hi Mark,

RB>>>> The alias CALC = KEYSTACK "CALC %@comma[%@EVAL[%&]]"

ml> i don't understand what it is that you are trying to do with this calc
ml> setup... mine is very easy... i just use an alias and then type
 ml> something like

 ml> calc 4 + 5

 ml> calc=echo %@comma[%@eval[%&]]

under 4DOS:

C:\>calc 5 + 4
9

C:\>

Under 4NT:

C:\>calc 5 + 4
0 5 + 4

C:\>

Funny, isn't it?

ml> and i have to load the alias' with the following command

 ml> alias /r \alias.ini

That's the same I do.

The other alias in the first line under 4DOS does the following:

C:\>calc 5 + 4

C:\>CALC 9

That means, at once I can go on with further operations, without typing in the
first part of the calculation again.

The same thing under 4NT:

C:\>calc 5 + 4

C:\>

As you can see, there is nothing. But I'm sure, "5 + 4" is more than nothing.
:-)

Regards, Ralf
