Hi, Dave.
DJ> This book just came out today, & who can reseist a cover bu the
DJ> great Alex Ross, especialy when its one of those linterer cocers
DJ> that change with every angle one looks at it? I picked up the
DJ> reguler of him just opening up his shirt for my brother.
DJ> Frankly, they BOTH look great! I might even get the follow up tales
DJ> done in the style of the golden & silver age.
You know, that's exactly what I was considering doing too. I was
actually quite impressed by the "Superman Forever" one-shot (a lot
moreso than when I last bought the super-titles regularly). I'm not
really looking to start back up with the Super-books full-time again,
but I wouldn't mind buying the Golden age/Silver age/Future age
stories which will flow through these books over the next few months
(so long as it interests me, anyhow...).
I bought the regular cover version rather than the one with the
lenticular cover. Old prejudices die hard, I'm afraid... and I still
don't like gimmicky or multiple covers... and this one had both. As
you said though, they both looked great... so I have no regrets in
having chosen to go with the regular edition.
Talk to you later.
David
