Even today that rates a salute! I appreciate the story. I heard one a long time ago on another continent about a B-25 top gunner that was pinned in after a crash landing and the plane was burning. The gunner was screaming as the flames drew closer and no rescue was available. One of the other crewmen who was uninjured did what decency demanded. Happened in China early in '45. --- FLAME v1.1 ---------------* Origin: The Grotto - Arvada, CO (303) 421-7186 V.32bis (1:104/251) |
