Hello Bob! 24 Sep 08 20:37, you wrote to me: RC>> Which is a helluvalot more than 65 days, which Klahn dutifully RC>> defends Sauer for and slights them over fulfilling full RC>> commitments. BA> The only 'defending' Klahn - and I - have been doing for Sauer is BA> pointing out that most of those who criticize him for those 65 days of BA> service have never served a single minute in the military. He caught this heck after embellishing his 65 days of service, to someone he didnt know as well as those whom knew Sauers history. Remember Sauer sent out of DD214 to Richard Helm. (I think it was Helm) I had a scanned in image of it sent to me, I didnt save it. BA> Insofar as 'working on A-10s' I've noted in the past that if he washed BA> the cockpit plexiglas he 'worked on' the aircraft. I've never seen BA> him claim to be a qualified, experienced aircraft mechanic, and I BA> don't think I've supported much of anything else he has posted on the BA> military (mostly I haven't commented). When you have 65 days of service in the USAF, 42 days was spent in basic, pray tell how can you manipulate the remaining 23 days into working on any aircraft, factoring in travel time to specialty school, his injury, treatment and discharge because of injury. Lemme tell you something, I have a brother whom served four years in the United States Air Force (87-91), he finds Sauer claims laughable. A store manager I worked for, whom currently is at another store now, spent nearly 20 years in the USAF, actually was a weapons mechanic for the F-15, he finds Sauer's claim laughable. Sauer specialty was to be weapons mechanic for the A-10. Just because *YOU* didnt see Sauer make the embellishment, doesnt mean he didnt do it. I saw it and several others did to. WHAT'S_HOT! echo to Raymond Yates. Sauer parlaying his 65 days of service to score a debating point is dishonest and that is what he gets called on. What I have also gotten after Sauer for is himself having gotten on Stan by calling him a coward by not volunteering for combat duty during the Grenada and Panama actions, taken in the 1980's. What room does Sauer have to talk here Mr Ackley? Sauer was offerred a choice, he wasnt told to leave the Air Force. I think yourself, Wilson and Klahn need to be clear on something, Ross Sauer is a grown man whom makes concious decisions to engage in battles that he cannot possibly win, even if you go as far as to take away his shovel, he goes out and gets another one and continually digs himself in deeper and deeper and deeper. Dont fight his battles for him, it is like a dog chasing its tail. == Ross Fidonet Feeds Or Fidonet In Your Newsreader: http://www.easternstar.info E-mail: ross(at)cassell(dot)us | Blogs/Other Places: http://links.cassell.us ...
