Hi Michael,

ML> The new ones aren't supposed to do that. All my equipment
ML> is supposed to be NMR-safe and thus by association also
ML> undetectable by the TSA scanners.
Did you get a card from the hospital identifying your metallic inserts?
I did for the elbow and wrists but not the knee. Also got cards when I
had the cataract surgeries listing what lenses and who made them were
put in. Probably that's on the off chance they're ever recalled.

ML> Nancy is going to hold on a bit I imagine, but how we can
ML> achieve that critical mass I don't know. It'll likely be
ML> rolling delays, such as the airlines do, until the crew times
ML> out. As of now, I have a cardiologist appointment on 9/17,
ML> which changes my plans even further.
As of now we're still free but going under the presumption that there
will be no picnic next month.
ML> > ML> You could probably get the hookups while adhering
ML> > ML> to local distancing rules.
ML> > Depends on where we hook up but we can go out in the boonies and be

ML> How often is a pump-out necessary when you're on the road?
Depends on various factors. If we don't use any other facilities for
bathing, cooking, etc and other conserving methods, we can go a while.
The water tank holds 30 gallons, plus, I think 3 (6?) in another tank.

ML> The idea perhaps being that the grocery is closer to
ML> home, plus one doesn't ingest grocery store booze
ML> until after getting home, so less chance of mishap.
That's the idea but in university towns....................
ML> > I'd advise you go with your alternate plans but see what Nancy says.

ML> Problem of course is the later it gets pushed, the
ML> less friendly travel will be.
Yes, we'd rather not travel up to NYS in winter. We've had to do it a
number of times but as we've gotten older, it's less of an option for
us.

ML> I wouldn't count on residual immunity that doesn't
ML> last long, especially from something that the mother
ML> likely doesn't have antibodies against.
Agreed!
ML> > ML> natural features. Be thankful you don't live

ML> Out of curiosity I went to Wikivoyage (the noncommercial site that
ML> seceded when Wikitravel went for profit), and the best it can offer
ML> is: Nebraska has a reputation of being a flat, monotonous region of
ML> farm and ranch land, but this stereotype has come from the many
ML> people who drive across Nebraska on the Interstate 80 corridor
ML> (the Platte River valley). Those who venture off this heavily
ML> traveled road discover that Nebraska does have a subtle, wide-open
ML> beauty that is all its own.
ML> Sort of like Rothko paintings, I guess?
It does, and the Wal-Mart off of I-80 in Olathe has a separate parking
lot for campers and big rigs. We found it on our way west in 2016 and
stayed there--a nice little out of the way spot away from the big rigs.
ML> > ML> Title: Awesome New Orleans Style Pasta - Carless Gay

ML> Carless actually knew what he was about. The folks
ML> on The Dinner Table tended to, and I miss it.
That's another echo I never got into.
