   "Old" myths can become untrue as literal or historical but I see no reason
to allegorize them and usually that is a distortion for no good reason.  To
say that the world is headed for trouble and that you know why is 
antalizing.
Why now SAY why and how you are able to prophesy this?  What are these events
that will "get worse?"
