RS> Yes, but when its prices are very high, its gouging. Particularly RS> when you compare an internal Sportster and Courier, with fuck all in RS> it parts cost wise, and the price they charge for those two. Gouging. BG> Crap. The external Couriers are almost three times the physical size of BG> the Sportstsers, and contain considerably more (3x as much?) componentry. RS> Crap, there is fuck all in it parts cost wise even with the externals. BG> Are you completely mad? I happen to have my external BG> sitting in front of me, lid off, as I type, and it not BG> only measures at least 3x the size of the internal, the BG> entire board is tightly populated with a hell of a lot more BG> componentry than the internals. There is no free space at all. So now you are attempting to run the line that say the Courier internal and external are radically different electronically, even tho they use the SAME SDL ? When the only real difference in functionality is the LEDs ? Are you seriously trying to claim that USR has to triple the logic on a quite fancy electronic design, the internal, just to support LEDs and a power switch ? I think they should take the person responsible for that design out the back and shoot him, quick. RS> You are out of your fucking tree if you think that the external has RS> three times the circuitry that a Sportster has but the internals dont. BG> The physical evidence is right in front of me, Rod. Pity you dont put your brain into gear and think about it tho. @EOT: ---* Origin: afswlw rjfilepwq (3:711/934.2) SEEN-BY: 711/934 @PATH: 711/934 |
