Hmm, can you ping an outside Internet address and get a response (e.g. 
www.ibm.com).   It almost sounds like there is a "misconfiguration" in 
the Mac's TCP/IP setup (assuming that the FTP passive mode works 
correctly).

Default GateWay set correct??  If IE has an HTTP proxie set correctly 
you would get HTTP, but not FTP, or maybe the proxie is incorrect for 
FTP.... Or maybe Proxie permissions for the Mac crowd's FTP.

Have you plugged your W$ or OS/2 machine into the Mac Subnet and see if 
it still works??  Set up a Mac login on your W$/OS/2 machine and see if 
that works.....
