I never really understood this unless you just really want to be out in the
boonies somewhere (which I personally would love to do) I moved within a mile
of work after graduating from college. What it's done for wear and tear on
the truck as well as fuel costs has been incredible...not to mention I don't
have to touch a freeway all week if I don't want to...
