that turned black I had if the latter.

I did have a morphine pump hooked up but pulled a macho routine
and never touched it after a nurse informed me some guy
had made it out of there in 24 hours without resorting to using
it, the unused morphine was charged to the hospital bill
anyway.
Told her I'd beat that and she said "We'll see if you're
here when I come on shift at noon tomorrow.
I was at the grocery store at 10:45 and home before 11:30.

Beat the previous record by just over three hours.
