That's the whole point. Make the antenna as hi-gain and efficient as
possible, and you don't NEED an amplifier!

This I've alreay seen, I think ;-) Memory is foggy, and I've slept since
then (not much, but did sleep )
I'm convinced now, more than ever, that my memory contains volitile RAM :-)

Give a listen on that ol' Shortwave reciever again, to those same frequencies
at night - you'll hear all kinds of activity up and down the east coast.
