This is actually how I want it to operate.  If the 64NET author doesn't do
it then I might just pull the finger out and do it myself!

Exactly!  As well as being able to get lots of relatively cheap hard disk
space, I also want full compatibility with all software!  :)

Sure, and it actually has merit!  I'll pass this along to Paul.  Mind you,
the translation of the serial signals from the 64 to and from 64net are the
whole problem anyway!  :)
