Yes, but I would have bet my house that somebody else would have done,
particularly those living in one of the streets where it was happening.

The next night however, a DC friend of mine dropped off his VCR, and when I
told him about the previous night's events, he said that NOBODY had
reported anything at all.  I suspect that it's so commonplace around here,
that nobody gives a fuck any more.  The next time it happens though...
