What I am describing is a bug. There is an INTERESTING THING
in that the RINGs will come in at the baud rate of last &W
*IF* there has been no intervening AT command on presumably
all modems, because they have to send it at some baud rate,
and don't know what the user wants yet, so they take a guess.
What I am describing is a *BUG*. It is not adapting to the AT
