OS/2 supports an animation button now. It used to be included only if the
multi- media extensions were loaded but now its part of OS/2 proper. It is
a button to which you give a set of bitmaps. It will handle all of the
animation of the bitmaps for you.
Check out the toolkit header file sw.h, or look up WC_GRAPHICBUTTON in the
online help. I think that should do what you want with little effort on
your part. You can even describe the button and the bitmaps all in a
resource file.
