| subject: | Making REXX .DLL`s |
I am trying to make a REXX callable .DLL with Borland C++ for OS/2 v2.0,
so far unsuccessfully. ie. a .DLL that is loaded with REXX's
RxLoadFunc and run from REXX.
I thought I had a test version working a long time ago, but now I can't
get it to work.
I'm just wondering if anybody has successfully created a REXX callable
.DLL with BCOS/2? Maybe there is a bug in BCOS/2???
I'm using rexxsaa.h from the Warp Toolkit on DevCon 9.
I read that entry points in .DLL's must be MRESULT EXPENTRY. However,
the vxtech* examples for Watcom/CSet++ delcare the REXX callable
functions as ULONG and are protoyped with RexxFunctionHandler.
RexxFunctionHandler is typedef'ed as ULONG APIENTRY, so this is an
inconsistentency already in rexxsaa.h and the vxtech* examples.
I've tried both MRESULT EXPENTRY and RexxFunctionHandler/ULONG and
neither works.
btw, what is _Packed defined as in IBM's CSet++ (or VACC)? I had to
define it in rexxsaa.h for BCOS/2, I just used,
#define _Packed
Maybe this is my problem?
Thanks!
Phil
