| subject: | classes and DLL-exports |
UK> Can anyone tell me UK> * how to export complete classes You might want to upgrade to V3, since it supports DTS (direct to SOM),which makes it easier to share classes (even between C++ compilers and different languages!). UK> * what the DEF-File has to contain, to manage exports You don't _have_ to use def files, either for exporting or importing. Simply use the "_Export" keyword to export your functions, then use IMPLIB to create an import library directly from the DLL. UK> * if it is possible to derive from DLL's just UK> by having a *.hpp and UK> the *.lib-File ? UK> And secondly - does anyone know, why the CSet++/2 isn't suporting the UK> asm statement ? Is there any additional info by IBM to this fact? Because ASM is not part of the ISO/ANSI standard. I wish all compilers would _remove_ support for inline assembly -- they all implement it in different, incompatible ways -- it only causes frustration for those who have been seduced into using it. Use real *.asm files instead. --- Maximus/2 3.00* Origin: Sol 3 * Toronto * V.32 * (905)858-8488 (1:259/414) SEEN-BY: 50/99 78/0 270/101 620/243 711/401 409 410 413 430 808 809 934 955 SEEN-BY: 712/407 515 517 628 713/888 800/1 7877/2809 @PATH: 259/414 400 99 250/99 3615/50 396/1 270/101 712/515 711/808 809 934 |
