subject: classes and DLL-exports

UK> Can anyone tell me
UK> * how to export complete classes

You might want to upgrade to V3, since it supports DTS (direct to
SOM),which makes it easier to share classes (even between C++ compilers and
different languages!).

UK> * what the DEF-File has to contain, to manage exports

You don't _have_ to use def files, either for exporting or importing.
Simply use the "_Export" keyword to export your functions, then
use IMPLIB to create an import library directly from the DLL.

Because ASM is not part of the ISO/ANSI standard. I wish all compilers
would _remove_ support for inline assembly -- they all implement it in
different, incompatible ways -- it only causes frustration for those who
have been seduced into using it.

Use real *.asm files instead.
