merely observations. I do not put down either the people who try to put fine,

complaints about those only concerned with the boom-boom-boom. To each their 
own. And, bragging/conversing about something you design and/or build with 
your own hard earned money and sweat is the most natural thing in the world.

  I agree and never said anything to the contrary. I simply observed that a 
continuing flame fest between new participants and even old hands here in the 
Audio Echo had been going on and off for a long time and were beginning to 
reach unpleasant proportions and volumes. So my suggestions/questions were 
whether it was time for a Mobile Audio Echo. I also believe the bickering had 
reached a point that we were chasing away the very people that we wanted to 
participate....those with the professional experiences to bounce our ideas 
and 
questions off of.
  There was a time when no matter what your technical question about Audio, 
there were any number of people that would respond in short order with 
detailed assistance and discussion. Threads ran for weeks and were polite and 
informative. The worst you read was one giving another the needle about some 
theory or particular piece of equipment. We would go months without Bonnie 
having to say a word as moderator...to anyone.
  But then things began changing and going down hill. An example of this is 
that even though I did not single anyone out, nor did I say anything worse 
than home and mobile audio evidently having nothing more in common but the 
word Audio, I have been called "stupid" as in your message, and a half a 
dozen 
other names. Whether these names are true or warranted or not isn't the 
point. 
The point is, they all came from mobile audio people unable to tell the 
difference between a calm, straight forward observation directed to the 
moderator and a personal attack. No viable debate has been offered, nor 
intelligent exception taken in the form of an open position letter addressed 
to Bonnie has been forthcoming. Just wave after wave of name calling, 
insults, 
threats and dribble. I would say that speaks for itself and proves my 
observations to be true. There is little to nothing in common between the two 
groups AND they evidently cannot share the same echo. At least not in peace 
and still maintain intelligent dialog.
  I would not suppose to put down someones hobby or passion. It is not my 
business nor concern. I don't even take all the "stupids" and "jerk" and
"most narrow minded" names aimed at me personally. I am disappointed in a 
couple of the semi old timers to the Echo that have resorted to them, but do 
not take them serious or personal. 
  If you absolutely need to blame someone for the changes, your welcome to 
target me. But in the end I truly believe both groups will be happier. In the 
time it takes to make the change don't worry about me...I never flamed anyone 
to begin with, nor have I called anyone any names. I will "pick and choose" 
the messages I read as you suggested, and hang out down at the fire station 
to 
put out all these flames that will continue to come in.
