It probably would not be that bad.  C++ is fairly easy to parse, as
languages go, and there are enough C interpreters around to convince me
that a C++ interpreter would not be especially difficult.  All C++
constructs can be expressed in C, as is obviously shown by the CFront
implementation.  Some constructs in C++, particularly templates, would
probably affect performance, but run-of-the-mill C++ code would likely work
quickly enough.
