Hi Ricky !

In response to your pixels originating Sun Aug 24 about Supra 288i PnP

I'm guessing here, so take this advice with a grain of salt. I just installed
a 336i PnP on my 486, and have made some progress, not done yet.
It seems that the plug & pray looked at my motherboard serial ports, and set
up some (at least as far as legacy systems are concerned) nonstandard com
settings for the PNP modem. The two things I did that resolved most of the
problems were: going into CMOS setup, and disabling the motherboard com
orts.
Then I ran the ICU configuration utility that came with the SUPRA and
manually configured the supra to com 1. Things are better now, but still
don't have everything configured for binkley. My old init strings still need
some changing since (I think) these new critters are no longer fully "hayes
compatible" and some of the old commands don't work.
CU L8 R,
