Well, "fix and/or reimplement" would be a better description. I
forget who last mentioned they were going to look at that code (Oliver?),
but either way I haven't heard from them. I gave up a while ago as I don't
know that part of the code well enough to fix it, and don't need that
feature personally, and can't really test it thoroughly, etc. I noticed
recently that Gerard wrote his own MSGAPI-style code to access JAM bases,
so maybe someone else can try adapting that?
