Excactly. They're short stories. Maybe they'll tie in with an arc someday,
but for now, fairly independent.

Sure. In mozt other shows, once the central aim has been accomplished,
there's not much left to examine:
"Galactica finds Earth" (old series)
"Lost in space gets home"

It was apparent (even without reading newsgroups or other commentary) that
B5 has a whole lot of additional stories to tell.
Heck, if the Simpsons can run for 18+ years.....

I remember thinking, duringt he first run...ok...what will he do when he
accomplishes xxxxx
Oh..ok...so that's next...and then there's this story...then....
