No....that isn't what its based on.


Sauer himself was once talking about his Air Force experience to some people
in (I think it was) Ceppa's echo.


During the conversation, someone mentioned that Air Force personnel got to go
all over the world, and asked Sauer where he'd been during his Air Force
service.


Sauer stated that he `never got out of Texas'!

I recieved various things of an official nature from different commands in the
Army when I was in that were issued here in the states somewhere, and I was in
Vietnam, 14 thousand miles away. So what?


I took basic at Ft Dix, NJ, but I was discharged at Ft Lewis, WA. And it says
Ft Lewis, WA on my discharge.


Why would Sauer's discharge be issued at Lackland Air Force Base if he was at
Lowry in Colorado?
