subject: GIFLink is outta control!

Hello,
Prior to posting this message I did a keyword search on the message
base to find out if this has already been answered and now I see
that no one has asked this question recently. So here it goes:
I installed GIFLink on TeleMate 4.12 and along with the batch
files explained in TELEMATE.DOC, it works great. Now I want to
have a choice between dl/ul'ing files using either GIFLink or
TeleMate's built in Z-Modem protocol but with GIFLink active, it
jumps right in and completes the transfer. I can always get rid of
GIFLink but that's not the idea. So I went back to TELEMATE.DOC...
I turned off the Auto Z-Modem download under Options as suggested
in the documetation but that did not do the trick and stop GIFLink
either. So what else can I do now? I would like to be able to use
GIFLink when downloading images but if I'm downloading an archive or
any other file I'd much rather use the built-in Z-Modem and do other
tasks in the background. What are your suggestions?
                                                      Al.
