Hi, Paul. PE> FM> Well today I connected at the normal, fast rate. As I suspected, I PE> don't PE> FM> get to see the CONNECT message, but the Telix status line changes from PE> FM> "57600 N81 FDX" to "38400 N81 FDX" after the connect. Once again, I PE> FM> haven't changed anything. PE> Try switching off "adjust baud rate on connect" in the options, PE> if it is already set. I can't see how it could be on though. As mentioned in the previous message, the only thing I could see anything like that is "auto baud rate detect". It was off. I turned it on. PE> Anyway, you connected at 2400 again tonight. I wonder what it PE> is? Hopefully I'll be upgrading software this weekend and we'll PE> see what effect that has. BFN. Paul. Let's see. Well as reported, with auto-detect on Telix reported a connect at 1200. I aborted and set it off and we're back to the old symptoms - Telix changes it's status line from 57600 to 38400, but transfers are at ~260cps. I hope your logs have been able to suggest an answer, this is getting frustrating. Regards, FIM. @EOT: ---* Origin: Pedants Inc. (3:711/934.24) SEEN-BY: 711/934 |
