Well at the present time the rework station I can _NOT_ being in personal 
work:-(  But with my personal tools I would not try because  of the time 
involved:-( to do it correctly.   With the rework station ($3000+ US) it 
would take less than a minute per socket.  As you note the rework station 
is NOT a thing a person  would own unless they have there own repair 
business which I do NOT have. :-(
