Ok, I've just contacted Dave, and he has no problem with me
calling at 2400 bps. I will however wait until tomorrow to
do the call, to give you guys a chance to deselect from any
echos you do not wish to pick up at 2400 bps.

I am going to change my poll times to 7am instead of 6am,
and 8.30pm instead of 9pm.

I think it would be wise to stick with the 2400 and see how
long it's going to take to get the Courier.

There are a couple of people who are connected to every echo
under the sun. I'm going to start deselecting those echos.

I will get my modem tested on Monday/Tuesday with someone who
*may* have the appropriate power supply (he has a Viper, if
Viper takes the same power plug, then he can test it). If it
turns out to be power supply only, I can probably get a
replacement.

Dave Hatch offered to lend me a 9600 bps modem, but he lives
a long way away, and I'd rather not get any more favours off
him than I am already.

BFN. Paul.
