Is this recent?  I thought that saccharin was OK in the US.  In Canada, 
we have Sodium Cyclamate and NO SACCHARIN!!!  We also have a product 
called Splenda, which is made from sugar (so I'm told) but it is quite 
expensive.  I use a fair bit of Splenda because you can cook with it.  
Aspartame and Sodium Cyclamate loses all flavour if you heat it.

Can you tell me a bit more about Stevia?  This is the first place I've 
heard it mentioned.
