Whenever I hear the term "union blaming" or "restructuring education" 
it makes me wish that folks didn't read science-fiction novels.  In the 
earlier discussion a camparison was made between 
the poor quality of american made automobils in the 1970's
and the union associated with it.  And somehow, there was a tie between 
NEA and this union.  Wow!  That is a leap off of a leap.  Now that 
we're closing a century in our Western civilization ( remember that the 
Chinese have a different system ) we all some to be convinced that the 
world which we lived had major faults, that we must find folks to blame 
for this which we were dissatified, and that we must reinvent 
everything.  All of this is in the name of the new century.  Just for 
my own information, when the calendar become 2000 will the earth itself 
really care.?
