Bill would tell me that all of my callers need to replace their
modem with a USR Courier, because it is obvious that every single
brand of modem except USR Couriers are stuffed.

Once again, you're the only person who has complained about this.  :-)
Oh well, I suppose I should fix it.  It might be because you haven't
been upgraded.  Then again, maybe this would help discourage you
from using the BBS instead of pointing!

Silly boy.  It's a vital piece of information.  I need to know
what rate you connect at with other V34 Couriers.  I want to
know if the problem is specific to me.  Can you also try David
Drummond and Poe Lim?  David's number was posted here a little
while ago.  Hold off on Poe until we get results on the others.
