I think that you will HAVE to identify what you have before you can 
properly treat them.  Are you in the US?  If so, you have county
extension services, don't you?  Maybe if you can "bottle" one of them 
you might know how to get rid of them.  They sounded like flying ants 
to me, but I haven't seen them and you have.  I wish you luck.
