BTW, when I told you that Rod Speed had called, that was actually
yesterday. It looks like he has tried and failed to connect
(likely forcing V42). However, Roy McNeill had called successfully,
which is the same effect anyway of proving the technology.

I have just gone wandering around all the shops in Crows Nest,
and they are all shut. I am now going to contact Dave Hatch to
see if he minds be collecting mail at 2400 if I cut down the
number of echos.

BTW, what I could do for STD callers, since I only have a couple
of them, is put the echos they can wait for into another point
address, e.g. 3:711/934.300, and then when I get a Courier I can
then send all that mail to them. The low-volume stuff they can
collect at 2400. How about some feedback guys, I don't mind
what I do from this end, so long as I can live by whatever rules
that Dave Hatch gives me (e.g. how long can I go without picking
up mail, and does he mind me taking 2 hours to pick up mail).

BFN. Paul.

P.S. Now is the time to refrain from File Requests!
