Funny, though, that that was not HIS explanation.  He said his basic was at
Lackland, that he was then sent to Lowry, that he hurt his ankle at Lowry,
and that they SENT HIM BACK TO BASIC because the medical facilities in
Colorado couldn't handle his bad ankle!  And while he was healing and then
working out the discharge arrangements he had lots of time to play cribbage
with a general.  And then there were those F-15 crashes he witnessed....
