| subject: | writing REXX DLL`s in C/C++ |
Hello Darin!
Replying to a message of Darin McBride to All:
DM> I'm miserably attempting to do this, and I made some rather, um, large
DM> mistakes on my first compilation.
DM> The question really is, how do I *unload* a DLL - I've ensured all
DM> functions that I've 'loaded' are 'unloaded' (via RxFuncDrop), but I
DM> can't do anything with the DLL itself - the system keeps it locked.
DM> Anyone with any ideas?
Exit all sessions that use the dll. Even exit the CMD-session you started
the app from. Now the REXX dlls should be unloaded and your dll too, as a
result from that.
DM> using

DM> - Watcom C/C++ 10.6
DM> - and alot of other things that most likely aren't relevant. ;-)
DM> I plan on porting a bunch of C++ stuff to be accessable to a VX-REXX
DM> program I'll be writing.
DM> Thanks,
Bye, Erik!
