Agreed. One only needs to look back upon the Sega CD for proof of what
happens when you pair an add-on with a system that isn't ready for it.
Granted, the SNES has a larger color palette than the Genesis did (256
on screen out of 32,768 vs. 64 on screen out of 512), which would've
made for better FMV, but still, they couldn't have done much else with
it that just that -- FMV, which (look back on all those Digital Pictures
games) is less than impressive on its own.
