AN> My male albino cockatiel "threw-up" 2 times today while perched on my

AN> Immediatly I panicked, but later I read (in one of those Cockatiel
AN> Manual type things) that tiels will sometimes regurgitate food (on or
AN> towards objects) to show their mate that he can/will feed their
AN> offspring. Does it make a difference that he puked while I was holding
AN> him? It was plain to see that he regurgitated his pellets, the colour
AN> or anything else was not *wierd*
Aw, how sweet! It just means he loves you! My male African
Grey does this with both me and my husband (who thinks it's
disgusting and withdraws when he sees it coming.) I let him
"feed" me, and give him a treat back (from my hand though).
My female cockatiel used to feed me too. You can usually tell
when it's coming by their behavior.
