You need to send an email with all the details you have directly to Michael Preslar,
the developer of the LORD, LORD II, and Planets: TEOS door games, at his
email address --- mike (at) lordlegacy.com. He will need to know the
following information
from you.
Which version of LORD are you using? There are several. He only provides
actual support
to people who are using the in-progress versions of LORD 4.07 beta. Which
O/S version
of LORD are you referring to? There is DOS LORD, LORD for OS/2 alpha, LORD
for Linux,
and LORD for Windows. There is also an internet version of LORD called Web Lord. If
you are using LORD v4.07 beta, he will need to know which compilation it
is. Those are
identified by telling him the time/date stamp of your lord.exe program file.
Also the correct location for LORD-related questions is in the Fidonet LORD
echo, if you
have access to it. You can obtain a current beta of BETALORD.ZIP from
Michael Preslar
by writing to mike{at}lordlegacy.com and requesting it. He reserves the right
to not send
the beta. There was an automatic email system for handling the LORD betas,
but people
abused it by distributing the beta archives to others in direct violation
of his warning to
never do that. So the files{at}lordlegacy.com system for getting Lord betas
was shut down
by Preslar in early April 2006 as a result.
Hope this information is useful to you. Donald Tidmore.
