simplifying... in the old dasys when you got hungry enough you worked. Today 
the safety net is an enabler for people toslack off. Waiting for the perfect 
job mostly doesn't work. In cases where I have been unemployed there has been 
a short safety net for me and my family and I appreciated it but went back to 
productive wiythout much of a nudge.I sidn't like paying with WIC vouchers 
for baby food so I got a job and worked on up.  Those unwilling or unable to 
adapt will reach retirement/disability with nothing we haven't given them.
