My son's Troop is going to the U.S.S Alabama in Feb.  I was able to use the 
message you sent me about it to really interest the boys and a number of the 
leaders.  Now we just have to decide on when to leave to get there.  Some of 
the leaders prefer to leave early Saturday morning and make the drive, and 
some of us would prefer driving part of the way Friday night, camping out, 
and driving the rest of the way Saturday.  It will be an 8 to 9 hour drive, 
(or more depending on how many cold drinks we let everybody drink on the way 
down) so there should be enough fun to go around for everyone.  If I 
understood you correctly, there is a lot to keep the boys (and leaders) 
interest on the grounds?

Care for a Troop 74 Scouting coffee mug, or some popcorn?  We are planning to 
go to Sea Base in about a year and a half, so some serious fundraising is 
about to start up.
