I'm not into to BetaSP but my thought is that The "BEST" way is the the dump
to the Bata VCR. I don't get close to DII other that the Flyer is spose to be
quality at that level using a TBC with a comb filter (5MHZ). I have seen a
dump of a BetaSP to SVHS that was vary clean. SO (fingers crossed) I Bet the
reverse is the same. If I were you I'de try it and compare the results. OR
find a TV station that uses both formats and ask. As for Newtek I think that
the users of the "Gama" .9 software are pointing out flaws and things that
they really need for the "new" V4 and that is part of the setback in
elivery.
My only gripe with the .9 other that the lack of CG Key over, is the ability
to make more exect cuts. There are many times when I have to cut a show be
1-2 min. and I have to chop between words. Though My son found a un-doced
edit tool in the .9. (bless Newtek? There is a key sequence that allows play
back from within a "project?" I think holding down eather left shift or the
"A" key while clicking on play, after highlighting the start clip of corse.
Luck; Clint
