 JB> Bonjour Montreal!

MR> No two cheek kiss from me! But you can be married here if you're gay.

Just don't slip me the tongue next time, Mike. You're realy not my type.

O-8*

MR> Ya, we have idiots for politicians. However, it is a good place, this
MR> summer especially we're having a heat wave for the past few weeks.
MR> It's in the low 90's but compared to 10 below 0 this is really nice!

Low 90^F is what C?

MR> We are like your Vermont on steroids...

"My Vermont?"

I'm in the Stampede City. What, Nine beasts killed in the past
calander year for our entertainment. Who said "Rome wasn't built in a
day." Didn't realize it burnt to the ground in three. [Dangle THAT!]

Every night, at least 15^ lower than daytime highs. Been hovering
near 30^C. REALLY nice to cool down the houses!

JB> For me, the Dodge camper-van was wired with a highly sensitive AM only
JB> radio, and being a '70 vintage, places it squarely in the discreet
JB> component (Maybe in the FET?) era device.

MR> Oh, yes, car radios have always had great receivers by necessity. Your
MR> 70's camper may have had fet's alright and they were aggressively
MR> marketed at the time for CB's even. That's when we 1st got replacement

Well, and lood at your efficiencies go way up! Much less 0 shift
either, right?

MR> MOSFET's without gate static protection and it was a way delicate job
MR> to replace one with all precautions.

Grounding mat, wrist straps, discharged caps...

 MR> M*i*k*e

MR> ... We now return to our regularly scheduled flame-throwing.

I just KNOW I have a good answer for that somewhere.

... Don Pardo, tell him what he's won.
